Although the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend has long since passed, I figured I might as well spread some of the American holiday cheer by making sure that everyone is afloat with all the parties that will be available during the US festivities. Canada has become a hot bed for all genres of electronic music in the last year, and our reputation has given us a lot to be thankful for this year in particular; as each major market in the eastern region has landed at least one big name to call its own for a night. Except for Toronto, we got two.

• The Party - Boys Noize
• The Place - The Hoxton, Toronto
• The Dates - November 24th
• The Just - Boys Noize's last trip to Toronto featured him playing the closing set at Kool Haus to cap off Decadence 8, which also featured the likes of Kaskade, Axwell, Chris Lake & Calvin Harris. Although his set was one of the best I'd seen him play that evening, I cant wait to have him as the center of attention once more, and in the much more intimate setting of The Hoxton.

• The Party - Zedd
• The Place - The Mod Club
• The Dates - November 25th
• The Just - This show, in my opinion, is a well overdue makeup for the inaugural Canadian show that Anton played at the same club back in March. It was well before Zedd got most of his exposure on the summer's OWSLA tour with Skrillex & Porter Robinson, and accordingly to most people who attended the show that night didn't know much about him. I can guarantee you with 100% certainty that this Thanksgiving show will makeup for the follies of the first, and then some.

• The Party - Bassnectar
• The Place - Metropolis, Mtl
• The Dates - November 25th
• The Just - Out of all the potentially sold out shows Lorin Ashton could have booked for himself in Eastern Canada on his upcoming tour, for some reason he decided to play only in Montreal. As a Torontonian, I will of course be fumbling through my phonebook for the next week to make sure I can secure a spot on someone's seven-hour trip to see him, but for you Quebecois bassheads, you really have no excuse as to why you shouldn't already have a ticket for this show.

• The Party - Alesso
• The Place - London Music Hall
• The Dates - November 25th
• The Just - Since London also houses arguably the biggest party school in Canada (UWO), it's crowd potential is borderline scary both in terms of size and energy output. The scarier part is that the students who comprise sed crowd have a strong affinity for Swedish House, and of course have been counting the days until this Alesso show, as it's his first time touching down in London. Just make sure to wear neon or no one will dance with you.

• The Party - Gooffee
• The Place - Ritual Nightclub, Ottawa
• The Dates - November 26th
• The Lineup - This concert is the last of a trifecta of shows put together to support the Movember movement here up north, with its first two shows featuring the likes of Porter Robinson and AC Slater. It will be the  Canadian duo's first set in Ottawa, and I'm sure that they will have  have every moustache in the place bouncing to their signature Moombahton sound.

See you next weekend!
