Our final installation of national New Year’ celebrations, features the city that never sleeps, (because it’s rocking out to dubstep until dawn). Some of EDM’s marquee names are descending on New York for the start of 2012. Here’s where they’ll be.

Infected Mushroom @ Best Buy Theatre

The Israeli electro-trance band, (they’re currently working with Steve Aoki), will hit midtown for a psychedelic segue way into 2012.

Avicii @ Pier 94

The teaser video for Avicii’s NYE engagement at Pier 94 asks us if we’re “ready.” I think the fact that it also gives us goosebumps is an affirmative yes.

Deadmau5 @ Pier 36

Deadmau5’s engagement at the newly renovated Pier 36 is being called “EverAfter,” and every type of ticket includes a four-hour open bar. Sounds like a fairytale of a good time to us.

Sebo K @ Cielo

Berlin-based house producer Sebo K plays the Meat Packing District’s electronic music destination, Cielo. Sleepy & Boo is also on the bill.

Laidback Luke @ Pacha

Laidback Luke’s NYE engagement at Pacha will be made even cooler than it already sounds via that the party’s suggested dress code, “superheroes.”

Webster Hall continues its 126 year tradition of throwing a bitchin’ party on New Year’s with their 2012 event, which will feature fire displays, aerial performers, the “biggest balloon drop in the free world,” and even a continental breakfast. Even better will be the after hours performance by Nero.

Alesso @ Pacha (12/30)

Go ahead and make it an all electro, all Pacha holiday by getting the party started early with Alesso on December 30.

Afrojack @ Roseland Ballroom (12/30)

Celebrate New Year’s Eve eve with Afrojack, who will also likely be celebrating his Grammy nomination.
