Arguably one of the most recognizable tracks to be released in 2014 was Caribou’s "Can’t Do Without You," which helped set the tone for a rise in soulful house oriented anthems and the future of dance music. The album Our Love was littered with to-be classics including "Mars," "Our Love," and "All I Ever Need" just to name a few. It was truly one of the most cohesive and artistically relevant albums to be released in that year and saw Caribou rise from the underground to mainstream appeal. Now, we are pleased to share the official video for "Can’t Do Without You"— a beautiful representation of the emotions felt in the track.

The video features a little boy running outside with a giant, floating, fish-like creature. At first the boy seems terrified of the being that seems to be chasing him. The fear turns to wonder and joy as the giant gets closer and floats with the boy running beside it. We don’t dare speculate on what the creature is or where it is from but we can analyze what the boy tells us by his facial expressions. What is he scared of? Why is he running? Why is his fear turned into joy? These are just a few questions you can ask yourself as you watch the video and try to understand what is going on. One thing is for sure, the e video is both poignantly touching and vibrantly eye-catching.

If your fascination with the creature present in the video compels you, you can enter a contest to have it delivered to you. Anywhere in the world. Click here to enter.
