Sonny Moore’s OWSLA imprint has been making waves in the dance scene since its inception. It has remained true to the enigmatic producer’s words when he founded the label in search of a home for diverse and forward-thinking talent. Thanks to OWSLA, the ears the world over have been open to the sounds as varied as heavy hitter Kill the Noise’s newest material to glitch-pop productions from Italian newcomer Phonat. The journey towards the future of electronic music continues today with Com Truise’s remix of Blood Diamond’s Dominic Lord-featuring “Barcode." The New York/New Jersey raised producer and DJ gives the track a twist that is both soothing and exhilarating. The harsh lyrics and glitchy synths contrast nicely with the track’s swooping drums and softer female vocals towards the two-minute mark, bending preconceived conceptions of what electronic music should be. Check out the dope Com Truise remix below!
