Released today on Beatport are the awaited remixes to Avicii's hit "Silhouettes". The remixers include EDX, Syn Cole, and Lazy Rich, who all serve to bring the melodic track an added energy, along with each remixers own brand of sound. EDX's Arena Club Mix brings a dubby, grinding drop to "Silhouettes", that mashes with electronic key progressions to give the remix a blood-rushing electro-house feel. Syn Cole's Creamfields Mix stays true to the original mix with its synth progression, which is altered only slightly. However, Syn Cole's added layers of synth create a harmonic key progression on top of the more upbeat tempo. Lazy Rich's Remix gives the Avicii hit the biggest dose of adrenaline, adding a bass-infected drop complete with piercing effects that give the remix a Knife Party-like sound. These remixes are each a great change of pace from the easier original production from the Swedish superstar, supplying the crowd jumping energy that the biggest EDM events are made of. While "Silhouettes" has remained a popular song in dance music, these reworkings keep the Avicii track fresh while giving it a Dada Life dose of caffeine, perfect for electro-house and progressive-house fans. The "Silhouettes" Official Remixes are available now on Beatport.
