At age 29, Alain Macklovitch, better known as A-Trak, has ammased a veritable laundry list of accomplishments. This includes winning the DMC World DJ Champion title at the ripe age of 15 to being selected as tour DJ for the always-zainy and entertaining rap superstar, Kanye West.

It doesn't end there. A-Trak is also a co-founder of one the most successful indie record labels of the moment, Fools Gold, with support from high profile acts such as MSTRKRFT, Laidback Luke, Simian Mobile Disco, Boys Noize and Diplo.

Most recently, A-Trak achieved crossover pop culture success with his group Duck Sauce (comprised of himself and Armand Van Helden), who produced the ever-so-popular, "Barbra Streisand," as well as the aboslutely mental/genius video, "Big Bad Wolf." You do not want to miss A-Trak live. It shall be a stupefying sonic experience.

If you can't make it to LAVO NY Thursday night, don't fret! elektro will be on-site to relay all the tanatalizing news, from the bass-drops to the neon lights to the clever crossfading, and beyond.

I wonder if A-Trak's live show will include any human heads popping out of his jeans? A gal can dream.

Look out for an informative article written by the man himself, A-Trak, in elektro' premiere issue, out February 2012!
