A-Trak has long been a voice in the electronic music community. However, being a producer of hip-hop and the owner of Fool's Gold Records, A-Trak also serves as a figure of the hip-hop community as well. Recently on the Huffington Post, A-Trak published an editorial piece about his opinions of the presence of drugs in hip-hop lyrics. It's no secret that drugs from marijuana through molly have been the subject of many rap songs. However, A-Trak offers the idea that all of these drugs should not just be rapped about, but talked about as well, since he believes there is "a profound lack of understanding of these substances" in the hip-hop community.
