A-Trak & Oliver – ‘Zamboni’

While many producers these days are exploring the sounds of 70’s-era disco for their tracks, A-Trak & Oliver are bringing it back to the 80’s with their new jam “Zamboni” (Fool’s Gold Records). These guys bring the funk with this track, fusing a cool acid riff with new-wave-style synths and bass that keeps it fresh and interesting. Even the drum fills have an 80’s flare to them, and is a nice change of pace from normal build-ups and drops you hear in most EDM tracks. It’s amazing that the song feels like a nostalgia trip and yet futuristic all at the same time, and is a testament to how good A-Trak & Oliver work together as producers. This song is a definite party rocker, and we should expect nothing less from the Fool’s Gold family.
