Diplo has truly done it all. He's collaborated with a wide array of pop, dance and hip-hop's biggest names. He has one of the most popular radio shows with Diplo & Friends on BBC Radio 1, and runs one of electronic music's powerhouse labels in Mad Decent. He's been in a movie, making an appearance in the Hollywood film '22 Jump Street,' which also resulted in his collaboration with Channing Tatum for "The Dick Graze."

Even with all of these accomplishments under his belt, Diplo is continuing his quest towards the top of the music world. Now, he and his fellow Major Lazer members are getting their own cartoon. Premiering on FXX on April 16 as part of Animation Domination is the new show aptly titled Major Lazer.

Diplo spoke to Billboard about the show saying, "It's been almost five years in the making, but it was worth it to have such a succinct TV show for our music fans and cartoon fans alike." The show, which centers on an eponymous superhero in a future, dystopian Jamaica, features the voice of recent Oscar winner J.K. Simmons, as well as guest appearances from Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig, Charli XCX, Riff Raff, Andy Samberg and Aziz Ansari."

Aside from being a show that like Major Lazer's music, contains influence from Jamaican culture and dancehall music, it is also going to contain some star power with these guests who will be providing voices for characters in the show. Watch the trailer above for an inside look at the cartoon.
