Presented by Live Mix Tapes and Trap-a-Holics, 'Run The Trap' is the newest EP from Atlanta production duo Heroes x Villains. The EP is four songs in length (including 'Original Choppaz' which has been out for a few months now), and the idiom 'All killer, no filler' is apt. Inspired by Southern rap, Atlanta's notorious strip club culture and the pulsating beats of electronic music, 'Run The Trap' is brash and anthemic...no doubt, Heroes x Villains intends for these songs to make their rounds on the festival circuit. As you might expect, there's enough bass to make your knees rattle, the signature rapid fire drum patterns standard in Southern rap music, vocal samples from Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and Waka Flocka and yes, there are even a few 'drops.' The stand out record is 'Flex,' a massive record that sounds like a collaboration between MiKe WiLL and Afrojack...if that reference doesn't mean anything to you, just listen to the record, it's really fucking good.
