Atlanta's Heroes x Villains has been one of the trap game's heaviest hitters for years now. HxV's latest hit "Living Life" is one that brings the hip-hop and electronic music worlds together, recruiting rapper OG Maco (famous for the track "U Guessed It," which took the hip-hop world by storm) and Miami-based producer Ricky Remedy (who just teamed up with Flosstradamus on their track "BYB" featured on their Soundclash EP, and performed alongside ther HDYBYZ at their first ever HDYFST on 4/20). The track is now available as a free download via Heroes x Villains ToneDen page.

Following the release of the track, HxV reached out to his friend Ateph Elidja of famed Parisian camp Bromance Records to give the track that unmistakable French touch. Helping to further bridge the gap between hip-hop and electronic music is something that the Bromance Records family has done time and time again. Label head Brodinski recently released his much-anticipated debut LP, Brava — a 14-track collection of electronica-infused hip-hop creations featuring rappers including Peewee LongwayBloody JayYung GleeshYoung Scooter and iLoveMakonnen to name a few. Brodinski and close-friend and fellow Bromancer Gesaffelstein also boast co-production notes on  Kanye West’s “Send It Up” (Yeezus, 2013). Basically, no one is a better at hip-hop spins than Bromance Records.

While Ateph Elidja is somewhat of a newcomer to the label, he certainly knows how to provide the sounds that fit comfortably with the Bromance catalogue. Elidja takes the angst-y HxV track and brings it to a dark place, delivering a flurry of high-hats and techno-influenced progressions that mix with the track's trap rhythm for a chaotic new way to enjoy the track.
