Astud Gilberto “Corcovado” Tokimonsta remix

Notably known for being the first first female to join Flying Lotus’ label BRAINFEEDER, TOKiMONSTA’s remix of Astud Gilberto’s “Corcovado” shows us her soft side towards bossa nova, Brazil’s fusion of samba and jazz, while adding her own twist of chilled out synths and trap drums. TOKiMONSTA’s take on “Corcovado” will be featured on Verve Remixed: The First Ladies set to be released mid-July. The cd will feature remixes of notable female artist such as Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald by the likes of Zeds Dead, Kaskade and Pretty Lights just to name a few.
