There's something about hearing Adele's vocals power through 166 BPM that's so wrong yet so right. Remixing Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain" was an interesting choice for The Prototypes, but it's nothing short of awesome. The heavily reverberated vocals spliced and strung into a melody make for a powerful intro. As the drop engulfs the vocals, a mesmerizing echo of Adele's sustained belt remains in the background. Instead of structurally mirroring the original song and going into the second verse, The Prototypes pull the chorus through a vocoder for a haunting effect. If you want to get pumped up for the weekend, this is a great track to listen to.
