Zeds Dead Unveils VIP Version of ‘Hadouken’
Last week, Zeds Dead announced that they will be releasing the Somewhere Else Remixes EP, which will come with reworks of the five most popular tracks from the 2014 release by Valentino Khan, Sleepy Tom, Kove, Neon Steve, Hunter Siegel, Nebbra, Memorecks and MSCLS. The EP also features two remixes from Zeds Dead themselves — ”Collapse 2.0″ and “Hadouken (VIP).” Ahead of the official May 12 release via Mad Decent, Zeds Dead released “Collapse 2.0,” a reworking that transforms the melodic original mix into an acid-infused electro creation that remains true to the track’s beautifully haunting vocals.
Now, we have heard the reworking from Zeds Dead, the VIP version of "Hadouken." This new way to enjoy what has been one of the fan-favorite tracks from the original EP comes with a two new drops that are sure to make fans go crazy when Zeds Dead drop them on unsuspecting crowds all summer. The Somewhere Else Remixes EP is now available for pre-order on iTunes. When fans pre-order the release, they will receive “Collapse 2.0″ featuring Memorecks immediately.
This remix EP is the follow up to their 2014 Somewhere Else EP. The release was a monumental one for the Canadian duo. It came with power packed collaborations alongside artists including Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, Dirtyphonics, Big Gigantic and Twin Shadow. The release also displayed a variety of sounds outside of their signature hard-hitting dubstep, like the deep house-infused single “Lost You” and “Bustamove,” as well as hip-hop tracks like “Stoned Capote” and “Dead Price.”
