Turing Machine Returns With Final Album

After an eight-year stint, the New York dance rock stalwarts Turing Machine have finally announced the release of their next album, What Is the Meaning of What.

Though recording sessions began in 2008, the project had to be put on hold after the passing of band drummer Jerry Fuchs, who fell down an elevator shaft in 2009. The remaining members Justin Chearno (guitar) and Scott DeSimon (bass) eventually revisited the material and worked throughout the past year finishing the album.

The seven-song LP is described as being driven by hypnotic riffs and Fuchs’ “unrelenting grooves.” The album will be released on May 8 by Temporary Residence Ltd.
