There may be only two more weeks until the year, but NYC entertainment guru Club Planet has already established who their top 10 is for dance music clubbing. Check out their list below to see if your favorite spot made the cut:

# 1 – Marquee in Las Vegas

Though still a baby in the nightclub scene, this venue has already managed to score some of the hottest names in the biz including a monthly residency for Kaskade, who will be performing at their one-year anniversary on New Year’s Eve. A special performance by Avicii will follow on January 2.

#2 – Beta in Denver

Any true fan knows that the EDM scene is constantly evolving, and Beta is one of the few clubs that keeps up with these trends. The Beatport Lounge gives its audience variety – a club within a club that boasts a separate FUNKTION-ONE sound system. It’s a def must-see for the dance music die-hard.

#3 – LIV in Miami

Miami may be sporting one of the sickest club scenes in the nation, but LIV trumps them all. Melding historic Fontainebleau allure and contemporary entertainment it has become the quintessential nightspot, sporting world-renown DJs, such as Tiësto and Deadmau5, each week.

#4 – Cielo in New York City

Simply put – Cielo is legendary. It’s not the name, the layout, or the fact that it’s located in one of the top nightlife club markets in the world, but the sound and groove that permeates the air like smoke-screen fog flowing from the DJ booth. The best have played Cielo and continue to do so, including the one and only Francois K.

#5 – Avalon in Los Angeles

What used to be a rustic mansion that hosted the Beatles’ first ever West Coast performance is now a massive dance club hosting names like John Digweed and Roger Sanchez. There’s no question that Avalon carries a lot of history, and they continue to build on their reputation by booking the latest in music and entertainment.

#6 – U Street Music Hall in Washington, D.C.

At U Street Music Hall, there’s no trickery with lights or fancy VIP section. There’s just a room with low ceilings and a booth set up at one end, symbolizing the purpose of the evening. With its popularity only increasing, we’ll be seeing DJ’s from across the globe asking their agents to stop in the capitol by next year.

#7 – The Music Box in Los Angeles

This venue may not limit itself to dance music, but when it brings out the DJ’s it becomes one of the best EDM venues to rave at. Introducing such acts like Loco Dice, Nero and Borgore, they know how to provide their audience with a variety of talent, mixing the hottest new DJ’s with its classic Golden Age interior designs.

#8 – Club Space in Miami

If you haven’t done the Space Terrace at 5 a.m. on a Sunday, then you haven’t experienced Miami to its fullest. Club Space has easily reached “legendary” status in a nightlife market that boasts a 2-year anniversary success. If you’re not big on natural daylight, stay in the main room where there’s a chance you’ll lose track of time.

#9 – Pacha in New York City

Still a virgin to the nightlife? Then Pacha is the perfect place to get your club cherry popped. A 30,000-square-foot venue, it is split into four levels, each with its own character and customized décor. In just two years, Pacha has become a staple in the dance music community and continues to deliver some of the best shows in the Big Apple, with celebrity DJ appearances by Oscar G., Fedde Le Grand, and David Guetta.

#10 – The Electric Pickle in Miami

What would this list be without including a space that was known for producing some of the best after hours dance music events we’ve come across? From Soul Clap to Matthew Dear, The Electric Pickle brings a soulful groove to a city that’s heavily influenced by cheesy dance music and bottle service. It may not carry the glitz and glam of some of these other venues, but catch any of these acts there and you’ll become a fan.
