Tiesto and Martin Garrix Release Music Video for ‘The Only Way Is Up’

Shortly after Tiesto and Martin Garrix teased fans with a preview of their new collaboration in a 7UP commercial, they announced the official release date of the much-anticipated collaboration to be May 4. Titled “The Only Way Is Up,” it’s a track that was present in the Ultra Music Festival sets of both artists. The track supplies something different than the kind of progressive house sounds you might expect from a collaboration between the two superstar DJs. Now that the track has arrived via Tiesto’s own Musical Freedom (purchase on Beatport), they have released the music video for the track.

The video takes its viewers to Miami, where the two performed together at Spinnin' Sessions, as well as on the main stage of Ultra Music Festival. The video also shows some shots from the location where they filmed the 7UP commercial that first teased the track. This track has been a part of their live arsenals for some time, and you can expect it to remain part of their live repertoires for the near future.

While performing at Ultra Music Festival, Martin Garrix would also premiere a brand new collaboration with fellow EDM superstar DJ-producer Avicii. After posting a picture of the two in the studio together, the world has now heard a preview of this forthcoming collaboration. He also premiered his forthcoming collaboration with pop sensation Ed Sheeran, “Rewind Repeat It.” Having kicked off the year with his collaboration with pop/r&b superstar Usher, “Don’t Look Down,” and now with this star-studded collaborations having arrived, 2015 is already shaping up to be his biggest year yet.
