Tiesto and Axwell Set To Headline Winter X Games In Aspen

In January 2014 the Winter edition of the X Games will take place in Aspen, CO. As of late, the X Games have recruited top music talents to come and perform throughout the competition weekend. Last year the likes of Major Lazer and Calvin Harris were brought in for fun in the snow. This year ESPN has announced Tiesto and Axwell will be headlining the events.

Sunday, January 26 Tiesto will perform the final set of the X Games weekend at 5:15PM, following Axwell who will perform at 4. The show will take place in Aspen's Wagner Park and is all ages. Tiesto is no stranger to the international sports stage as he performed at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. “I’m a huge sports fan so it’s quite an honor to be a part of the X Games experience,” Tiësto said about playing at the major event. “Aspen provides such a unique setting for a DJ set and I can’t wait to party on the slopes."The X Games shows will benefit The V Foundation for Cancer Research.
