The week of Electric Daisy Carnival: Las Vegas marked perhaps the event's biggest year yet. With the festival stepping up its amazing production with a mind-blowing main stage, as well as another successful EDMbiz conference, the week was a testament to the amazing strides the dance music scene and community has taken in the short time since the EDM culture explosion. Aside from these monumental events, Vegas was alive with dance music, as some of the biggest artists in the industry performed at the city's one of a kind venues. These events kept the party going 24/7 in Sin City, fueling an unforgettable EDC Vegas week. Here are some of our favorites.

LIGHT Nightclub

If you want to talk about the premier nightclubs in the country (and probably the world), one cannot leave LIGHT out of the discussion. The most amazing and innovative club in Vegas, incorporating acts from the world famous Cirque Du Soleil, LIGHT combines incredible acrobatic performances with the EDM world, as well as top-knotch visual experiences to accompany your favorite DJs. Boasting a resident DJ roster of some of the best talent the industry has to offer, including Sebastian Ingrosso, Skrillex, Zedd, Alesso, Krewella, and Clockwork just to name a few, LIGHT supplies the greatest clubbing experience Vegas-goers can enjoy.

ECLIPSE

Light Group, the same people behind the captivating LIGHT Nightclub, make sure the party is going all through the day and night, with their pool party, Daylight, and their amazing nighttime pool party, ECLIPSE. When the sun sets on the strip, ECLIPSE combines all the fun of daytime pool parties with the assorted array of lights and lasers that illuminate the city's nightclubs. During EDC Vegas week, ECLIPSE hosted Nicky Romero and Skrillex, for two unforgettable events. ECLIPSE embodies the dance music fan's Vegas summer experience.

Encore Beach Club

Upon visiting Vegas, it is impossible to ignore the beautiful Wynn Resorts, as the enormous gold structures grace the Vegas skyline. These hotels contain the three incredible nightclubs of XS, Surrender, Tryst, and the stunning Encore Beach Club. We here at elektro teamed up with Corona's Electric Beach to bring Diplo to the elegant poolside venue, where its classy, relaxing feel was overtaken by hard-hitting beats and girls "expressing themselves." Even amongst the endless booty-shaking and all around ratchetness, one cannot ignore the venue's beauty, with its large swimming pool containing numerous lily pads and beautiful cabanas complimented by countless red umbrellas. Whether you're in Vegas for relaxation or dancing, Encore Beach Club will not leave you disappointed.

Hakkasan

loading...

Hakkasan located at the massive MGM Grand is one of the clubs that fueled the week's festivities. They're lineup of resident DJs sent shockwaves through the industry, as Tiesto, Hardwell, Calvin Harris, Danny Avila, Dada Life, and Laidback Luke are just a couple of the names on the A-list of residents for the club. Accompanying this star-studded lineup is a flurry of lights and lasers that illuminate the dance floor. One of the week's highlights at Hakkasan was Hardwell's performance, where he was joined on stage by Tiesto and Knife Party. Certainly a perfect toast to the heavyweight lineup of resident DJs. Dance music fans, you'll want to visit this venue before your Vegas trip expires.

Marquee

Marquee, located in the brand new Cosmopolitan Hotel, is a two-headed monster, giving fans a daytime and nighttime experience with its Dayclub and Nightclub. The Dayclub supplies a fun-filled dance music pool party, while the nightclub provides a nice clubbing experience, while also allowing its guests to go outside to enjoy the night's cool breeze (trust me, it helps). This venue is the only place you're able to catch the one and only Kaskade during his "Summer Lovin'" stint, while the club also hosted Avicii, and the quickly rising Australian DJ/producer Helena during EDC week. This is another great venue to make sure you visit during your time in Vegas.
