Swedish House Mafia “flips the switch” on Empire State Building
In honor of the Swedish House Mafia's NYC takeover, which begins tomorrow night with the Black Tie Rave charity at Hammerstein Ballroom to benefit the Mayor's fund to advance New York City and Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief fund in support of hurricane Sandy relief efforts, as well as Save the Children's initiative to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in America, the trio will "flip the switch" and light the Empire State Building's world-famous lights yellow and blue, the colors of their native Swedish flag. Following the Black Tie Rave, the group will perform at Madison Square Garden on March 1st, an event which sold out in 8 minutes, beating the time it took to sell out the same venue last December by 1 minute. Following their MSG performance, they will play 3 consecutive shows at Brooklyn's Barclay's Center, marking them as the first electronic group ever to do so. Also, don’t forget to check out Swedish House Mafia’s exclusive New York Pop Up store at 8 W 38th Street open until March 4th. You never know who might drop by!
