Once you've tried on a set of seriously high quality headphones, (basically anything other than a cheap pair of earbuds), there's no going back. But it's not that simple, is it?

Mid-range headphones like Skullcandy's Hesh headphones are not as pricey as a set of Grados or Sennheisers, and provide an alternative to earbuds. But it's hard to justify spending $60-$70 on them, especially when they don't actually have much to offer in sound quality.
