The Dutch brother duo brought the house down on an eager crowd at Webster Hall last Saturday night. Although the aftermath of snowstorm Nemo blanketed the streets in soon-to-be-gross snow, it seems nothing could stop what was going to go down that night. Showtek delivered a high-energy set of nearly three hours, keeping the crowd moving and shaking – the floor felt like it might give out at any minute with the nonstop jumping.

The pair was delivered high-octane energy all night. They played a steady stream of hits and bangers like remixes of Swedish House’s “Leave the World Behind” and their Tiesto collaboration “Hell Yeah”. The hypnotic and hard-hitting beats of the night culminated when the duo played their hit ‘Cannonball’, getting the entire crowd to spring up from the floor in a collective burst of wild energy. The crowd’s reaction was completely off the charts, eating up the heavy beats Showtek was delivering from the palm of their hands.

The great combination of the Dutch duo’s contagious musical journey and the crowd’s honorable ability to dance the night away made for a fantastic time. Webster’s craving for music was clear at what I thought would be the end of the night. After Showtek’s set, one might think everyone would be too tired to keep the night going, but one would be wrong. At 4 am, a heavy dose of hardstyle was unleashed onto the crowd to keep them dancing, and dance they did.
