SFX Entertainment, owners of ID&T, Made Event, Beatport and more, have just announced a marketing deal with Clear Channel. With 110 million listeners a week, Clear Channel is the largest radio provider in the USA. Their partnership will allow SFX Entertainment to expand their reach even further. Plans are being put in place to have a DJ contest that will be aired on Clear Channel's networks as well as a weekly Beatport top 20 countdown.

In an article on the WSJ Blog Clear Channel's president of entertainment enterprises, John Sykes, spoke about the partnership with SFX. “EDM is quickly becoming mainstream in our culture – we found ourselves looking for every possible way we could connect with our audience in EDM,” he said, “The great thing about DJing is that consumers can connect to it personally – you can DJ in your basement. It doesn’t require a ton of money or schooling to pick it up.”
