RL Grime is steamrolling through the scorching summer with the release of his anticipated 5-track EP 'High Beams', his debut for Fool’s Gold. Opening stingers “Pockets” and “Shells” coil tightly trap-infused drum lines with a heavy splatter of synth fills. Next comes a finely formed hip-hop rise of a track ("Secondary") thanks to the gritty guest vocals from hyped LA rapper, Problem. “Cliq Cliq” tantalizes with grinding bass, slow burning with an underground vibe. Finishing off the collective is “Heard Me”, which is a bold out track to a hella good selection of dirty fusions. 'High Beams' EP is out July 16 and follows RL Grime's highly successful remixes of 2013—“Mercy” (Kanye West) and “Satisfaction” (Benny Benassi), both of which are staple joints within the EDM circuit.
