Quickie with a DJ Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Edition: Danny Avila
Danny Avila is the talk of the EDM world as of late. He announced his residency at US broadcasting behemoth SiriusXM becoming the youngest ever prime-time DJ and is embarking on a massive US tour, headlining in some of the most prestigious venues in America.
On Wednesday night you get to see what everyone is talking about at Stone Rose, the official lounge of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. We had a chance to speak with Danny. Check out the interview below:

If you could have one superhero power, what would it be? Travel at light speed like Flash, it would definitely make the traveling part of my job a whole lot easer!!
First job you ever had? Working as a Tennis trainer when I was 15.
Favorite candy / snack? Kit Kat Chunky. I'm addicted. Not sure if you guys have them over here but if you don't, you need to have a word with someone.
What do you drive? My skateboard. I bought it with me on tour, I'm really ramped to get a go on some of the big skateparks in America.
Kind of watch do you wear? TW Steel.
Favorite Sneakers? Nike and Vans, they're the best for boarding with.
Favorite fashion brand? I've not really decided yet, but as it's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week I hopefully get to discover some cool new stuff.
If you had one night left to live, how would you spend it? I'd definitely spend it out in Ibiza wake boarding till the sun goes down and then partying with all my friends and plenty of Jägermeister.
Favorite video game? Call Of Duty.
Can't leave home without? My iPhone.
First DJ you ever saw live? Fedde Le Grand at Dreamers, Marbella in 2009. His performance really opened up my eyes to what it was possible to do with decks and a mixer.
How would you describe your style? Ravey and energetic, just like my Sirius show you know, I'm ready to jump.
What are your thoughts on the dance music culture right now? I think it's great to see how EDM evolved in the last years and what huge phenomenon it has become worldwide. There are so many young talents bringing so many fresh ideas to dance music now, which amazing to see. I feel blessed being part of this.
Favorite track to play? Knife Party "Rage Valley"
What can party goers expect from your set for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week? I will have some surprises in my set for sure and NYC-debut my first single "Breaking Your Fall", but I won't tell too much now, cos I want everybody to come and check out for themselves :)

DJ alongside live? Zedd. I'm playing Halloween with him, Tiesto and a load more other guys at "Something Wicked Festival" in Houston so I'm definitely really looking forward to that.
