Quickie with a DJ: Krewella + New tour announced

How did the three of you get together to form Krewella? Jahan and Yasmine are sisters so they met when Yasmine came out of the womb. 13 years later, Kris met Jahan after she fell down the stairs at a party and he offered her an ice pack. The rest is history.

How did you guys come up with the name Krewella? We wanted something that represented the music we were making. We were writing some lyrics to a song and the word Krewella came up, and we immediately knew that was the name.

Jahan and Yasmine, being sisters, is it harder or easier to work together? Easier, we cycle together.

How did you guys feel when “Killin It” went to number 2 on Hype Machine? Fuck Figure for cock blocking us [from #1].

Favorite drink?  Alcohol/Virgin? Whiskey/Scotch. What's a virgin?

Scariest groupie moments? The scariest are also the funniest. The weird YouTube comments we get on our songs:
