Quickie with a DJ: 16-year old Vexare: “I blindly agreed to [Djing live], then I was like ‘Oh shit, how do I do this?'”

Favorite virgin drink? Going to have to say Coke-Cola.

Favorite moment DJing? I have a lot of favorite moments. I can't just pick one. I love making grime faces at the people in the front row to see them return with similar expressions.

If you could have one superhero power, what would it be? Morphing, for sure. That'd be sick! To be able to do whatever you want because you could turn into anyone.

First job you ever had? I don't recall a whole lot of EARLY jobs, but I did have a box of about 100 Crayola Crayons when I was 6, and I would loan/sell them to kids at school in return for stuff that they had. It's very vague now, but I remember feeling like a badass.

How did you get into DJing? DJing was kind of hobby for me. I started fiddling with production when I was 12, but up until last year I was strictly a producer. I got a request to play a show and I pretty much blindly agreed to it, then I was like "Oh shit how do I do this?" But overall I had fun and ever since I've been practicing mixing.

What are your plans for 2012? .I'm not entirely sure yet... we'll let the music determine that!
