Besides the health benefits of staying active, individuals can now harness their movements (walking, dancing, biking, etc) to generate energy that is stored in an internal battery. The nPower PEG allows just that, converting your movement into stored energy that can be used as stored electricity through a USB 2.0 port for your devices (Apple devices require an adaptor). The technology still doesn’t allow for a more efficient creation of energy (1 minute of walking approx. equals 1 minute of listening on the iPod Nano and requires much more activity for talk time on the iPhone), but is a worthwhile investment for more active individuals.
