The Balance series of mix compilations is among the most esteemed for those who love their quality underground EDM, and on May 22nd fans in the US will be able to get their hands on Balance 021, helmed by UK veteran DJ, producer and label owner Nic Fanciulli as he prepares for a series of club and festival dates across North America.

The Balance series is most famous for hosting some seriously groundbreaking mixes from other massive names in underground EDM, like Joris Voorn and Henry Saiz, and here Nic Fanciulli makes sure he lives up to the tradition with a seriously polished double-CD mix, which sees him spending extra time in the studio to weave more than 50 tech house cuts across the two discs.

The first ‘Balance’ disc will prove to be the most memorable, a beautifully paced and carefully crafted journey through the spectrum of house and techno. Starting off deep and funky, full of jazzy interludes and vocals, it builds eventually into a slamming peak. The second ‘Saved’ disc is made up of exclusive cuts from Fanciulli’s own record label, and is a more straightforward exercise in pumping tech house, taken straight from the business end of a night out.

Lovers of quality underground house and techno should jump on the latest instalment in the revered Balance series, and make sure they catch Fanciulli on his upcoming US dates.
