If Sunday night's Super Bowl halftime show was any indication, Missy Elliott is back and in a big way. Her special guest appearance during Katy Perry's performance not only introduced her to a large group of young (and clueless) music fans, but also put her catalog of music on track for a 1,000% sales gain.

Billboard reports that the songs performed by Missy during the Half Time Show performance (which were her hit singles "Get Ur Freak On," "Lose Control" and "Work It") "are each aiming to sell around 15,000 to 20,000 downloads for the week. In the previous week, each sold around 1,000 downloads." All three tracks landed in the Top 10 of the iTunes Singles Chart on the day following the Super Bowl.

Now it is being rumored that Missy is working with Skrillex and Diplo on a remix of Jack U's "Take U There." Hip-hop radio station Hot 97 personality Miss Info reports that she heard an unreleased version of the single that contains two verses from Missy Elliott.

Given Diplo's long-list of hip-hop and pop music collaborators, which includes Sia, Justin Bieber, Beyonce, Usher and Brintey Spears to name a few, this potential union is far from out of the realm of possibility. Skrillex is also currently boasting an impressive list of production credits on tracks by A$AP Rocky, Fatman Scoop and Damian Marley. Seeing as how the collaborative Jack U landed Kiesza for their first single, it is apparent the duo have some pull with the music industry's biggest names.
