Logitech develops speakers for AirPlay app

t Apple’s AirPlay application has become a growing sensation among music fans, allowing you to stream your iTunes playlist wirelessly throughout your home while an iPhone or iPod touch can serve as the remote control.

Before, the only speakers compatible with the app were either Bowers & Wilkins or Denon, but now, with the app’s new found popularity, Logitech is throwing its hat into the ring with the Logitech UE Air speaker.

These speakers feature crisp and clear audio as well as higher volumes so you can really crank up those dubstep beats. The Logitech UE Air app provides a smooth set-up to your iPhone or iPod devices. The only setbacks are that the device cannot be powered by batteries, so it needs be by a wall-outlet at all times, and the bass response can be a bit thin compared to most speaker systems.
