LCD Soundsystem’s ‘Shut up and Play The Hits’ Trailer

On April 2nd, 2011 LCD Soundsystem played a final show at Madison Square Garden. James Murphy wanted the band to go out on top and did so with one of the most ambitious concerts of their career. Thousands of fans came and enjoyed the four hour extravaganza. The film documents the days leading up to the show, the day after, and the personal and professional ramifications of his decision..

At one point in the video it reads, "if it's a funeral, let's have the best funeral ever."
