Kovary and Erase Records Release ‘Missing’ Remixes
Originally released in 1994, 'Missing' by the British pop duo Everything But The Girl, is now recognized as an iconic track from the '90's. I can still remember this tune coming on the radio as my mom drove me to soccer practice but I didn't yet realize how legendary the track would become. Today most music heads will be able to recognize the melody. This is partly due to the release of Todd Terry's remix in 1995 which would later solidify its place in dance music history. Now, 20 years later, the track is being injected with new life from Kovary who put his nu-disco style into a nostaligic re-edit.
After the success of Kovary's production, Erase Records has released a Remix package featuring renditions produced by The Beatangers & Boogie Vice and L.O.O.P.. Everything But The Girl would be proud that their track is being payed with such respect as these remixes hold. Be sure to grab this release from Beatport and keep your ears open for more classics getting the remix treatment.
