The super duo of Skrillex and Diplo known as Jack U have been making waves together since their formation early this year. Since then, fans have been treated to thrilling back to back sets from the dance music stars at events like Mad Decent Block Party, Ultra Music Festival, and HARD Summer. However, it seems their presence doesn't always please everyone.

On Wednesday, Seth Troxler was supposed to play a set at Burning Man's Robot Heart Stage, before pulling out after a disagreement with the festival's promoters. Skrillex and Diplo happened to be hanging out near the stage, and jumped in to fill the void. Fans say Skrillex was playing a "pretty cool" set, when Diplo soon joined him, and made a vital mistake; playing "Turn Down For What." The crowd responded by raining boos on them, forcing their hastily exit from the stage.

Things didn't get any better for them, as their performance on the main stage of Electric Zoo was cancelled due to inclement weather. However, Skrillex promised a NY make-up date for Jack U. With Skrillex in New York City for a performance at Marquee, and an intimate performance at Burlesque show venue The Slipper Room this weekend, this make-up performance may be happening very soon. Stay tuned for more information.
