Last year, Insomniac Events gathered some of the biggest names in the electronic music industry for a three day conference leading up to Electric Daisy Carnival. The EDMbiz Conference returns to Las Vegas this year June 17-19 and it is going to be bigger than ever. “This year’s going to be taking it to another level,” Insomniac Events Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella told Billboard. “In America we haven’t had a proper dance music conference."

The new EDMbiz will feature an awards show on the final day of the conference. According to Rotella there will be so many awards that some won't even be announced during the show. As announced last year the awards will be put on with the help of Dick Clark Productions which helps with the production of The American Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards and Golden Globe Awards.

Also included in this year's conference will be an expo. This year we’re enhancing the experience with a bigger and better Expo, showcasing industry-related tools, technology, and products." Rotella explained in a Facebook post. "Everyone is invited and we hope to see you there!"
