Slovenian DJ and producer Gramatik got picked up by Pretty Lights Music as soon as he landed in America, and he’s been producing successful hit after hit ever since then. His attention to detail and emphasis on rhythm come together to create a sound that comes across as spontaneous and creatively unrestricted yet meticulously thought through. After quite a ride with Pretty Lights, Gramatik has announced the launch of his own label, Lowtemp, marked by the release of a new single, a bluesy cross-switch piece entitled “Bluestep.” The track also serves as the first tune in Gramatik’s upcoming album, The Age of Reason. You can look forward to that one, set for release this spring.
