About a week ago, we showcased the preview of Feed Me & Crystal Fighters new collaboration with Feed Me's exclusive Matilda Remix. The song itself has a lot of potential for reworking, and now the whole "Love Is All I Got" EP is out today. Featuring the original mix of the song, Feed Me's Matilda Remix and three more remixes, the EP is comprehensive and diverse. The Friction remix has a more dubstep inspired drop and mixdown to it, as to be expected by Friction. The original beauty of the song is not lost in the womps, however: Friction preserves the original harmonics. Larse slows down the track and adds in a strong clap with the echoed out vocal. A little bit more down-tempo, this 7-minute version of the song is much easier to vibe out, as opposed to party on to. The percussive, tropical backbeat is chill and happy, giving a whole new dimension to the track. The Alex Light remix speeds things back up again, lending a progressive, powerful synth progression to the song. Somewhere in between the Friction and Larse remixes, the Alex Light is high energy without being a full-out club-ready track. Altogether, the EP is well rounded, diverse and complete: definitely worth a purchase on iTunes HERE.
