Empire of the Sun “DNA” The M Machine Remix

Fresh off of seeing the official video for Empire of the Sun’s “DNA," we now get the extra treat of a double-whammy remix package for the track courtesy of one of our favorite groups, The M Machine. The San Francisco trio has continually delighted us for years now and true to their amazing nature, they simply couldn’t express their remixing talents through just one song. First we’re giving an upbeat, pop-synth interpretation of the Empire of the Sun single dubbed “The Remix for Helios," an appropriate title considering you’ll be on cloud nine after playing this one out. The twilight finish to the remix gently floats us into the following edit, “The Remix for Apollo." However for this one, the airiness stops at about the one-minute mark when you suddenly find yourself in a rather intense buildup before being dropped into one of the sickest drops you’ve heard. The more aggressive and suspenseful breaks of the remix add to its almost tribal spirit and will surely have you rocking as soon as you check it all out for yourself below. Best of all, you can download each track for free. This seems like a much better offering to the gods than human sacrifices, don’t you think?
