ELEKTRO REVIEWS: Porter Robinson “Live Edits and Bootleg Thingies”

Porter Robinson propositioned his fans on Facebook to vote for the bootleg or “matchup” that they would most want to download for free, and after the votes came close, he decided to release all of them in one package, and creatively titled it: Live Edits and Bootleg Thingies. The release comes with four banging tracks that include some of Robinson’s own work mashed together with some other EDM heavy hitters.

Listening to the melodic sounds of deadmau5’s “Arguru” tied seamlessly with the hypnotic vocals of Robinson's “The Seconds,” all of a sudden ascend into a blast of heavy electro bursts from Wolfgang Gartner’s “The Champ,” will be enough to send anyone into an EDM frenzy.

He follows that seriously sexy mix with his own take on Flux Pavilion’s “Bass Cannon”, where Robinson gives the heavy dubstep sound a nice electro flair. The last track sends you off with a huge bang. seadmau5’s hard intro is  woven together with Noisia’s "Machine Gun", ultimately weaving a dubstep/electro web that EDM lovers everywhere will totally get tangled up in.
