It’s impossible to ignore the skyrocketing popularity of the passionate producer/DJs Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano. The praise is well-deserved; when they take to the decks, they radiate positive energy through their non-stop smiles and connect with both the newer and veteran fans with their mix of tribal, house and mainstream party beats. When genuine love for the music shows, it becomes contagious.

Sunnery and Ryan also have the seal of approval from Size Records head honcho Steve Angello, who told elektro that he is “a super big fan and a big supporter” of the talented duo from Amsterdam. When Steve elaborated on some of their greatest qualities, his enthusiasm for the two came through loud and clear. To say that SJ & RM have “[Some] of the best tastes in music" along with "great energy and good vibe[s]” is probably the highest compliment the Swedish House Mafia star could give. Sunnery revealed that there is even collaboration that’s been in works for over a year with their mentor.

Sunnery and Ryan’s musical journey really kicked off three years ago in their hometown of Amsterdam, when Steve checked out their one of their parties. Sunnery vividly remembers the Size leader's words post-show; upon seeing the duo live, Angello said, “I want you to open for Swedish House Mafia at Pacha Ibiza.”

At the massive Size Matters show in Central Park this weekend, they will go with the flow. “Musically, I think the crowd is gonna decide what we’re gonna do," Sunnery said. "But you have to enjoy – c’mon, you’re playing in Central Park in New York City. You have to prepare to enjoy the party!” Sunnery and Ryan know what the people want. “We’re gonna bring a lot of new tracks with Size, new stuff, and beats,” said Sunnery confidently. The bottom line?  “You have to come to Size in Central Park and see what happens!”

Size In The Park features Third Party, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, AN21 & Max Vangeli and Steve Angello at Central Park's Rumsey Playfield on September 22nd.
