Housed in a historical church, Vision’s gothic-interiors make it one of the most visually stunning clubs in the country, with three rooms and nine levels connected by spiral staircases and narrow passages. As one of the nation’s most unique spaces, Vision has earned its spot on DJ Magazine’s top 100 clubs.
Hosting A-list DJs such as Skrillex, Sunnery James, Ryan Marciano, and D. Ramirez, the Mid has become the place to see and be seen. Modern touches, such as exposed brick, dark wood floors as well as a great view of Chicago’s skyline have made it a frontrunner in the city’s music-centric club scene.

Upon entering this venue, head upstairs from its cocktail lounge into the main club, a cavernous wood-floored space, which hosts the headlining DJ. Such upcoming acts are to include Axwell, Static Bros, David Tort, and DJ Trentino. (b-are these all edm?)
Being smart is so in right now. Smartbar's no-frills, dark, dank atmosphere may give you the feeling of partying in a friend’s basement, but the well known DJs and large dance floor make it clear this is no house party. The bar has even been credited for breaking industrial music artists like Ministry and Trent Reznor, who used its crowd as a test audience while recording.
