Electric Daisy Carnival New York will return to New Jersey in May when it will take over MetLife Stadium on 24 and 25. Tickets go on sale Friday, December 11, at 9AM EST via Ticketmaster. Tickets will be tiered starting at $199 plus fees, then increasing to $225 and $239. Insomniac will again pull out all the stops, bringing its world famous combination of top-shelf electronic music acts and immersive art.

EDC NY was originally slated to take place at a farm in upstate New York. They were going to feature camping, late night music and more. Unfortunately, their permit did not go through and Insomniac had to settle for the location of the EDC NY's inaugural 2012 festival. The 2012 festival was hugely popular lasting three days with four stages and artwork strewn throughout MetLife Stadium's parking lot and field. It is a perfect "blank canvas" for Insomniac and their creative team.

“MetLife Stadium and the surrounding grounds offer a massive blank canvas that allows us to take our production to an entirely new level in New York,” said Insomniac Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella, “Our goal is to create something that’s more than just a music festival – we want to transform MetLife Stadium into a piece of living art. As part of that effort, our giant, 40-foot-tall animatronic Owl, which debuted during EDC Las Vegas 2013, will make its first ever appearance on the East Coast. Over the coming months there will be even more surprises to share.”
