Dance Parade began in 2006 to stand up against a New York City law that banned public dancing way back in 1926. Today the Dance Parade is a non-profit artistic and cultural event that is held annually in NYC where people flock to participate in a parade of people dancing through the streets. To kick off their 8th season of Dance Parade, the organization is having their Lift Off party headlined by the legendary Louie Vega on Saturday September 28th at Bobby's Nightclub in NYC. Tickets are just $10 in advance here, and $15 at the door so make sure to get there and help celebrate this unique occasion.
