Diplo tests out a new sound with Grizzly Bear

Dabbling in the realm of indie rock, Diplo, takes on the Grizzly Bear ballad “Will Calls.” This remix really comes as no surprise considering Diplo’s track record for taking on any sound no matter how different or obscure. Diplo does not surrender the soothing asthetic of the original with his heavy bass and climaxing drop. He has undoubtedly mastered the creation of dance music’s version of a slow jam. Love the guy, or hate him, you must admit Diplo’s musical palette and willingness to try something new is what sets him apart from most basic producers.
