Daft Punk Begin Work on Their New Album with Chic Frontman, Niles Rodgers
Legendary French electronic music duo, Daft Punk, is rumored to be working on their long-awaited fourth studio album with famed producer and songwriter, Nile Rodgers. This will mark the duo’s first album release since their Tron: Legacy soundtrack in 2010.
"Those guys are great," Rodgers told CultureMap. "They're coming to my apartment on Monday and we're going to talk about making a new record together." Rodgers has an impressive roster of musicians he credits with; everyone from Madonna to David Bowie.
