Cross-Switch: Lana Del Rey “Video Games” Sound Remedy Remix

Easily one of the more gifted DJs to emerge on the electronic music scene in 2012, L.A. based Sound Remedy has really done it this time. His mid-tempo liquidy sound comes off effortlessly clean and evocative (could it have something to do with both of his parents graduating from Julliard?). His range of appreciation of various styles of music is evident from his past remixes from Wiz Khalifa to Nirvana to Beethoven, which brings us to his lending some casual hip hop flavor to Lana Del Rey’s massive ballad “Video Games”. Just getting his feet wet in the trap genre, Sound Remedy’s light and bouncy remix is a sign of great things to come. Look out for this dude in 2013; his plans to start his own record label are already in motion.
