When I think of Janelle Monae (a rarity but, hey, she's cute), most likely I'd think of a lovely voice singing pop ballads under coiffed hair that looks oddly similar to the bebopper she supports on tour, Bruno Mars (also cute).

If cyber aliens came down and shot up the pop stuff with heavy, coiled electro beats and synth so manic that my eyes twitch from listening, we wind up with the Betatraxx remix of "We Are Young by Fun", featuring Janelle Monae.
