However, here to revive their hip-hop-electronic sound is Dubsective, a 19-year-old DJ and producer who’s brought us a remix of “Jello” that’ll blow your speakers. It’s chill where it needs to be and energy-packing everywhere else. The hip-hop hook maintains the cool-factor of the original, while Dubsective’s masterfully placed drops keep the re-work fresh and edgy without becoming sloppy. If this is any indication, the world of electro-dub better watch out for this bright young newcomer from Gibraltar.
