Skrillex & AT&T U-verse have released a 7-part documentary on his groundbreaking Bonnaroo SuperJam that went down in 2014. The documentary offers a behind the scenes look at how the unlikely group of artists came together to form a musical act that was truly unique. With Skrillex and his all-star band featuring Big Gigantic, Janelle Monae, The Doors, Lauryn Hill, Mystikal, A$AP Ferg, Zedd, Warpaint, Cage The Elephant's Matt Schultz and much more, the series shares an inside look at how musical boundaries can be brought down to reveal the limitless nature of the medium.

As dance music becomes more prominent in the music idustry, artists are finding new and exciting ways to expand their sound by combining live instrumentation with the electronic feel. Just look at the number of producers who have put together a live band to take on tour. Pretty Lights, Bonobo, Francesca Lombardo, and Kate Simko have all added live instruments to their sets and the reception has been nothing but positive from critics and fans alike. We hope to see more musical experimentation in the near future as more artists follow this trend.

Spearheading the Bonnaroo SuperJam, Skrillex put together an all-star band of artists from a diverse range of genres and was able to establish a cohesive musical experience. Fans can watch the full 7-part series on U-verse.
