Bristol-based Applebottom has been busy with productions over the past month. One of his latest releases, “Let You,” is reflective of the up-and-comer’s evolving style - a groovy tune that gradually adds layers and builds into a rhythmic, enchanting track. The vocals in “Let You” amplify this effect. It’s tough to classify Applebottom’s style - there appear to be elements of some house, minimal, jungle, and drum and bass. Nevertheless, we’re excited for Applebottom’s future releases (he’s only 17) and can forgive him for selecting a name we can’t seem to dissociate from Nelly’s rap track.

Perhaps he can find an MC named, ShortyGotLow.
